At Dodds and Shute, we care deeply about understanding our supply chain – how furniture products are made, where, out of what materials and by whom. In 2018, we launched our supplier sustainability audit. We have now gathered data on over 225 FF&E manufacturers’ practices. Suppliers who score above 70% are considered on our sustainability ranking list.

Here are some of the desks from our sustainable suppliers that we’ve been using on our projects lately.

Canteen XL Modular Desk, by Very Good & Proper

Very Good & Proper operates with a "sustainability through longevity" philosophy, focusing on durable, repairable products to reduce waste and preserve resources. They integrate sustainability into their operations, using 100% renewable energy in factories and sourcing materials responsibly in the UK and Hungary. As FISP members they emphasise durability, repairability, and waste reduction.
